Instructions For Filling Of Form
  1. All entries in the form should be filled in the BLOCK CAPITAL LETTERS or neatly typed.
  2. Enclose an attested copy or photocopy of your valid arms licence for Pistol issued by the licensingh authority.
  3. Bank Draft may be taken from any PSU or scheduled bank and drawn in favour of 'General Manager, Gun & Shell Factory, Cossipore' payable at Kolkata. Bank Draft is required for an advance amount of only Rs 6000/- to book the order.

Terms And Conditions Of Sale

  1. Order will be accepted in the prescribed Form only.
  2. Orders from Indian Citizens having valid Arms Licence for purchase of .32" or NPB PISTOL issued by appropriate civil authority only will be considered.
  3. An applicant can book only one Pistol at a time.
  4. Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected. General Manager, Gun & Shell Factory, Cossipore reserves the right to refuse to book any order without assigning any reason whatsoever and without giving any notice.
  5. On acceptance of order a serial number of registration (priority number) will be intimated to the purchaser. If full ammount is not received with the application, Money Advice Letter will be issued to the purchaser for depositing balance amount before maturity of order as per priority number.
  6. Factory will intimate in time the formalities to be completed and date/ period of collwection by post to the customers strictly in the sequence of the priority number. Customer will have to report for collecting pistol in person on the due date(s) intimated to him. Delivery shall be made after realization of full amount and depositing of all documents as per the Arms Act 1959 and Arms Rules 1962.
  7. Price/Duties/Taxes applicable on the date of actual supply will be applicable/ chargeable. Any increase in taxes/duties or fresh imposition effective on or from a date prior to the date of supply but comming to the notice of the factory at a later date will also be payable by the customer within one month of demand.
  8. Every effort will be made to effect the supply in sequence of the priority number but no guarantee is given to this effect. No liability will be accepted for any change of sequence of supply for any reason whatsoever.
  9. No claim for demand of any loss or damage due to delayed execution of order will be entertained.
  10. No responsibility or liability will be accepted for the postal delays.
  11. Right is reserved to cancel any order without assigning any reason and without giving any prior notice. In this event payments received against such order will be refunded as dues. No compensation/ interest on th eamount for return will be payable
  12. In case an individual fails to respond to the Money Advice Letter or refuses to collect the pistol after depositing full amount, the order stans cancelled automatically and money received will be refunded after deducting cancellation charge of Rs 500/- amd postal charges.
  13. No liability is accepted for payment of any interest on advance or full payment received against the the order booked with the factory for any reason whatsoever.
  14. Notwithstanding what have been here in fore stated, GM/GSF reserves the right to sell the Pistol to any Government Department/ Autonomous Body/ individual on out of turn basis as per directives of Chairman, Ordnance Factory Board, Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India.
  15. Pistols once sold will not be taken back or exchanged. In the unlikely event of any manufacturing defect, necessary repair shall be carried out free of charge (up to 1 year after sale) at Gun & Shell Factory Cossipore on production of Pistol by the customer.
  16. Except where otherwise provided in the terms and conditions for sale all questions and dispute arising in connection with this contract shall be referred to the sole Arbitrator to be appointed by the Chairman, Ordnance Factory Board. It will be no objection that arbitrator so appointed is a Government servant. The award of the arbitrator shall be final and binding on the parties to this contract. Subject as aforesaid, the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996 and the Rules made there under for the time being in force shall be deemed to apply to the Arbitration proceedings under this clause.
  17. The place of arbitration/ adjudication, if any, shall be Kolkata.
  18. The above procedure of sale in subject to alteration or modification at anytime without any notice as per directives from the Chairman, Ordnance Factory Board.
  19. I.O.F. MAKE PISTOL IS NOT TRANSFERABLE / SALEABLE WITHIN FIVE YEARS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE/ SUPPLY.
