Feedback System/Rules
The Feedback System is a feature that allows a user to make a public comment
about other users, which that user has interacted with. This provides
the Gunaccessory.com community with a means of policing itself and of
promoting honesty.
By feedback, users help in creating
a sense of community at Gunaccessory.com. All feedback comes from actual
experiences that users have had with each other. This in turn gives all
users a chance to find out a bit more about the people they are doing
business with, which assists all users in making an informed decision
about conducting business with a particular user in the future. It also
helps set the standards for all users. You are therefore providing a service
to other users of our site by partaking in the Feedback System.
You are only able to rate another
user that you have interacted with. We encourage you to finish your transaction
with the user before placing a feedback about your interaction with that
person. Please keep in mind your overall experience as well as each step
in the transaction process.
The feedbacks are displayed next
to the User name as a number of Stars. Just click on the 'Feedback' link
next to the User name of the Member from the actual item page to view
the feedback.
You can respond to the feedbacks
given to you by other members from:
a) My Gunaccessory.com: Just login
into My Gunaccessory.com Area, and click on the "My Feedbacks"
in the "My Account" section. Here, each feedback given to you
by a member is given along with the date when the Member gave the feedback
and the Item ID and the comment if any. You are also given a free text
box below each feedback for you to respond to the feedback. b) Item Page:
You can also view and respond to the feedback from the actual Item page
of the item where you have participated as a buyer or as a seller. The
way to do this is by going to the Item page and clicking on the feedback
link next to your User Name. You will be taken to your feedbacks page
where you can login and respond to a particular feedback.
Points to remember
while feedback!
* Feedbacks
are of 3 types Positive, Negative, Neutral.
* Only the
transacting Buyer or Seller can give a feedback.
* The feedback
should be given only after the close of item after you have completed
the transaction or are completely sure of non-completion of the deal.
* Always
be short and to the point while feedback, rather than give descriptive
and long winding feedbacks.

Always rate the person with respect to your post bidding or buying experience
that you have had with the seller. Refrain from giving abusive, defamatory,
slanderous comments. Stick to giving transaction related feedback. If
it has been good, rate the Seller positively, if it has been bad, rate
him negatively; if you are unsure about your bidding or buying experience
give a Neutral Feedback.
1. You are only permitted to rate
a user who is a Seller if you have interacted with that Seller, and, where
you were the successful buyer and completed a purchase of that item with
that Seller and you must not provide a feedback of a Seller outside the
Feedback Criteria.
2. You are only permitted to rate
a user who is a Buyer and the successful bidder in the item which you
as a Seller have listed in auction. You must not provide a feedback of
a Buyer outside of the Feedback Criteria.
3. Comments and feedbacks cannot
be edited once submitted. Therefore, please be cautious when adding your
comment, as you are unable to edit it once you have submitted it. You
could also be held liable for damage to the User if legal proceedings
are taken against you for your comment.
4. You may not abuse the feedback
system. Abuse of the system includes using accounts of your friends or
your own secondary accounts to lower the feedback of another member or
raise your own feedback. Threatening, abusive, racially vilifying, discriminatory
or profane language is also abuse of the system and is not allowed.
5. We would like to promote and
preserve free speech and therefore will remove feedback only in exceptional
circumstances. Gunaccessory.com reserves the right to delete any feedback
at its sole discretion upon an investigation into the feedback (although
we are never obliged to do so). If you feel that you have received an
unfair feedback or you have evidence of any abuse of the Feedback System,
please contact us and we will investigate the matter. Please note that
this investigation may take several weeks.
Circumstances where Gunaccessory.com
may delete a feedback include, but are not limited to:
• If the feedback contains any links
to other pages or images or contains information not related to interacting
with the user on Gunaccessory.com in accordance with the Feedback Criteria.
• If the feedback contains adult
material or profane, abusive, racially vilifying, discriminatory or threatening
language.
• If we are required by law to do
so.
